why i do what i do…

Warning ! Vulnerability and Honesty Ahead…

Many years ago, we realized that we had a very spirited child with high sensitivity and emotional needs. There were very high highs and also very low lows (and all the things in between) since infancy. It was especially challenging because it seemed like nothing we did helped or changed things. I was constantly reading parenting books, following blogs, crying/praying, we went to therapy and tried other interventions.

This struggle was not only impacting our day to day emotions and events, but it was starting to affect the “big” areas, like relationships with others and even our son’s schooling. While a part of us was hopeful, another part of us felt like we were going to be stuck with these challenges forever.

I decided to began focusing consistently and intentionally on nutrition and supplements in this last year because I realized that there was something missing in these other efforts (and from the advice of professionals). And since then our son continues to thrive. The changes were gradual, but noticeable.

Just a few times in the last week, my husband and I talked about how we are all in a much different place than we were a few years ago. Our son is happier, less angry, more agreeable, more affectionate physically and verbally, less challenging…I could go on.

And of course this has positively changed the energy in our house on a consistent basis. Of course we still have our normal family/parenting bumps, but we aren’t as anxious and chaotic. And we all bounce back faster.

I honestly feel that cleaning up his diet, making consistent nutrient dense meals, and adding in appropriate, high-quality supplements to support his needs, as well as focusing on positive support systems has really made the difference. Once we started clearing up all the chaos that was in his body, there was room for the nutrients and love that we were feeding him. And now, our lives feel strikingly different.

I want to help others shift from having that internal and external chaos to a more balanced body and life. This gives me more joy and fulfillment than you could possibly know. That’s why I do what I do. That is why I put 100% in - Because I love seeing my clients and others around me feel and do better, while also learning more about themselves.

Health and wellness is not a destination- it is a journey, and it is not a liner one either. There will be setbacks and curves along our and your way, but at least we can be aware of what the balance and proper foundations are. While I can’t promise that the same journey will happen for all of my clients as in the same manner as it happened for us, I have discovered that if you want peace and wellness badly enough, it’s usually only a matter of time (and high level guidance) before you get there.

Trust Me. Be vulnerable, don’t give up, and take the risk.

It’s worth it.

Us.

My Heart.
